Group Exercise
Does the Thought of Working Out with a Group of Motivated People Doing New and Exciting Exercises Inspire You?
Group exercise classes are the perfect addition to your workout routine and if you don’t have a routine, classes are an excellent starting point. Our instructors are knowledgeable, energetic, and will motivate and assist you in achieving your fitness goals. Whether you are interested in weight loss, toning up, improving your flexibility and coordination, increasing your energy level, or simply need the inspiration that a group can provide we at Hamilton Fitness have the classes for you.
We offer a group exercise option in the fitness department guaranteed to raise your level of training through an exciting new approach to working out. This type of fitness, which focuses on functional, or as we call it "lifestyle enhancement" training, gets you up and moving in small groups working on exercises that will
help you:
• Move better.
• Perform better in sports.
• Be more active in all aspects of your life.
• Make even the simple things such as chasing your kids or loading groceries in your SUV easier and more enjoyable.
We define lifestyle enhancement as making you more successful in anything that you choose to do in your life. Functional training, or working on your core strength areas, affects how far you hit a golf ball, how you feel after sitting in your office all day, how your back feels after lugging your kids around for the weekend and other basic physical movements we all take for granted.
We offer this training in a group setting for those who like group dynamics and who are driven to new heights by being surrounded by a group of motivated training partners. The exercises are things you probably have never tried, the coaches are exciting and get everyone moving, and the results come in just a few weeks.
Classes are scheduled or can be booked on an appointment basis if you have two or more participants ready to go.
Remember that this type of class allows for folks of all different fitness levels to participate together and go at their own speed.

Meet Paula Flory our Director of Group Exercise. Paula has come to us with a background in group fitness, personal training, and counseling. With a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University, Paula began her career as a counselor working with those suffering from low self esteem, depression, obesity and other eating disorders, as well as addictions. Always passionate about health and fitness Paula began a second career after her children had begun school. As a self proclaimed "gym rat", Paula was an avid participant in group fitness classes and decided to become more serious about exercise. Several years ago she obtained a Personal Training Certification through ACE and worked as a private trainer in client’s homes. In addition she became an AFPA certified Health and Nutrition Consultant. Realizing that her real interest and enthusiasm was in the field of group exercise she became certified through AFAA as a Group Exercise Instructor and began to teach in several area gyms. In addition to her AFAA general group ex certification, Paula is certified to teach cardio kickboxing, Zumba, and Body Training Systems Group Power and several other specialized classes. Although no longer a one on one counselor, Paula continues to help people by sharing her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge about exercise in a group fitness setting. Her goal is to get people moving and to help them have fun while doing it. When not in the gym Paula enjoys cooking, travel, shopping, reading and spending time with her family. Please feel free to contact her to develop a fitness plan that includes participating in our results oriented exercise classes. |
